It is time for our APGA annual Rio Rico FD training. It is on the schedule for the week of 4/20/26. 5 classes scheduled.
This Propane awareness training gives first responders the knowledge to deal with a Propane emergency safely and go home to their families at the end of the day.
The training is 5 four-hour classes over 3 days. The class covers an abbreviated version of the PERC Propane Emergencies Physical and Chemical Properties, Non-Bulk and Bulk container valve design and operation and customer installation operation and design. Each class also includes live fire evolutions led by Rio Rico, AZ Fire Incident Command.
We will set up on Monday.
* Tuesday 4/21 – 1 Morning and 1 afternoon class
* Wednesday 4/22 – 1 midday class and 1 evening class (Night Burn)
* Thursday 4/23- 1 morning class and teardown and clean up
If you wish to stay in the area it is recommended that you make hotel reservations immediately, as there are limited accommodations in the vicinity.
